Its a great album. I was always aware of his hit songs, but never thought of actually buying something of his until I heard it at my brother in-laws a couple weeks ago. These live versions are great. I really like the opening track "Nutbush City Limits". I can see him singing that with a g...

I'm a little stunned that Luxembourg is on there, as it is one of my favorites on one of my favorite albums. I don't know what the hell he is saying, or what the hell it has to do with Luxembourg. But it IS compelling. .Uh, WELL, WELL, WELL!! Seriously, that doesn't translate to much, but I like it....

Braggin on my little sister

My little sister wrote and illustrated this book, her first. I am very proud of her. If you have kids, they'll love it. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0803730241/ref=dp_return_2/104-2241496-2142338?%5Fencoding=UTF8&n=283155&s=books Sorry for the shameless plug, but I can't contain my pride...

I've listened to Il Sogno 4-5 times in the background while I'm working. Just can't bring myself to feel anything for it. I'm not sure if the bonus disc on MFBB is simply another copy of Il Sogno or not, but if you want my Il Songo, I'll send it to you for free. I have suspicion that this years Olym...

Sorry to hear that Spooky. My mother died of lung cancer 7 years ago, she was 58, never smoked, my Dad didn't smoke either . . and she lived a very active and healthy lifestyle. It was a complete shock to all of us. She was diagnosed 2 days before Christmas in '98. She passed away just 10 days later...

2. Having it All
3. Suffering Face
4. Deportee

When Chuck Norris sends in his taxes, he sends blank forms and includes only a picture of himself, crouched and ready to attack. Chuck Norris has not had to pay taxes ever. As a teen Chuck Norris impregnated every nun in a convent tucked away in the hills of Tuscany. Nine months later the nuns gave ...

You know, I think they opened for Elvis when he played Chicago on the Brutal Youth tour. I remember humming the tune "This Is Hell" while waiting for them to finish.

I agree with Oily's review of the Grammys. Abortion is a good word for it. I think Sly left the stage early because he was disgusted with the jam. It had a complete LACK of funk to it and everyone was horrible and he just couldn't take it anymore. Only bright spot was Alison Krauss and Union Station...

dumbest shows on TV

After laughing my ass off through all of last nights episode of 24 . . . I have to say, if this is the highest rated DRAMA on TV, we haven't come very far since the days of Dragnet's Joe Friday. Where to begin? Is it the horrible acting? Is it the ridiculous blue-lighting of the CTU? Is it the over-...
