Thanks to davidortiz who first torrented this in January 6, 2006. It stayed on the tracker through August 2006 and snatched 326 times. I did some minor retracking, added brief fades at the encore break, and snipped 20 seconds of silence from the end of the last track. Excerpt from George Gimarc's "Post Punk Diary: 1980-1982" "February 6, 1980 - Elvis Costello and the Attractions are masquerading under a different name to play a surprise concert in Liverpool. They're working out new material and didn't want the pressure of an audience of reviewers. They were slotted in as the third act at the bottom of a bill featuring Rockpile (with Dave Edmunds and Nick Lowe) and the Fabulous Thunderbirds. Nobody really expected much from the "Horace Barlow Band" until they took the stage and the crowd caught on. Elvis played it straight onstage, even down to introducing the band under the fake name. At one point in the show he managed a not-too-subtle dig when introducing a new song called "The Impostor" and dedicating it to his "...great friends, The Jags." Elvis would repeat the surprise performance the next night in Bradford."
