RIP TOTP

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

RIP TOTP

I can't remember the last time I watched it, but it's a shame anyways.

It was inevitable really - they changed the format, changed the time slots but once they changed to putting it on BBC2 then the death knell started.

They should have made bands play live.

I can't say I'll miss it - I couldn't tell you the last time I watched it.

Whatever its flaws/time-slot messing-around, I shall miss it and enjoyed watching it last night (apart from the current BBC No 1).

Despite the current 47000 channels of choice/IMO crap/in others' opinions lovely sounds-pics available for noise throughout the transmitted media I liked having a 'pop' show on mainstream terrestrial TV.

It's the end of an era... the end of an institution...
