Am I losing my Elvis obsession?

Post by LessThanZero »

I just listened to the Flame Burns Blue album on I-tunes...could've purchased the whole thing + Dust + Il Sogno for $9.99.

I didn't. :(
Loving this board since before When I Was Cruel.

This is heresy. Blue, where are you?
Preacher was a talkin' there's a sermon he gave,
He said every man's conscience is vile and depraved,
You cannot depend on it to be your guide
When it's you who must keep it satisfied

Don't worry about it, LTZ. I didn't run out and hover over the EC bin at Best Buy today, either, as I would have in times past. Some things are worth waiting for, I figure!

I guess what's relevant is WHY you didn't -- and whether you intend to do so eventually.

Now that it's possible to pre-order these things online and download them from iTunes, the fun has gone right out of being IN the store ON the day it comes out. Esepcially when you have already been able to listen to snippets on line. Somehow, getting that Amazon package 5 to 7 days after the release date doesn't have the same gotcha value, and then the whole damn experience slides into relativity.

If, on the other hand, you didn't buy it because you think it sucked....
