Nope, but just got tix to SF show.......
Bastards on the EC site had the Warfield as in Alabama.....so, of course I clicked stupidly , hitting the refresh button until I looked and saw that they were complete idiots....AGAIN!!
If I ever manage to talk to a human that works for him about his website/ticket info.....Lord help them!!
Bastards!!
But, I have two tickets...though in the balcony!! But much, much cheaper than the LA tickets.....
Yaaayyy Sulky!!!

O.K.
I did buy S.F. tix right?
Not Alabama tix.
I didn't even notice that until Misha pointed it out.
Do I need to be freaking out right now?
If I did get S.f. tickets, which I hope to God I did, I have no clue where they are in the grand scheme of seating charts. I know they are floor seats, row G.
.....And they better be in San Francisco.

ECLover,
Yes, you did buy SF, the nincompoops at his site put the wrong information. As far as I can tell there is no Warfield in AL. If for some reason I am wrong, we can sell them on eBay, but I think I have it figured out. There are floor seats? Here is a map to go to:
http://www.tixxman.com/warfieldsan_francisco_ca.htm
it shows a floor section, but that it is general admission. I am in Lower Balcony C on the aisle..
Again, I cannot overstate this enough.....BASTARDS!!!! You would think that with EC being such a rumored perfectionist that he would like the information going out to be semi-correct.....I'm thinkin he needs to have Diana Krall's web company do his.....it would at least have current info on it.
ECLover, I also pulled up the seating chart for Warfield independently of the EC Tickets site and they look the same, essentially, one has actual seating on it and one is just color blocks...they look like the same place.
Wish he'd hire a REAL website person......
Hey, we can meet up!!!

Misha,
Thanks for the info. I think I feel more relaxed now.
I too looked at the Warfield seating charts on-line, and noticed that the "floor" is listed as general admission.
I e-mailed the customer service people at the E.C. site for some verification of what to expect, but so far no word back.
I would like to know because we willl be flying in from out of state, and if I have to do the whole getting there super early thing than I'll fly in the night before.
We're going to do the Santa Rosa show also.
We should definitely meet.

Good luck getting a response from EC's people, you would probably have better luck asking EC himself, or getting in contact with him for that matter. I think his people are busy smoking crack, or possibly finding ways to keep from working on his website.E.C. Lover wrote:Misha,

We will have to get together in Frisco, and then if we don't absolutely hate one another, we can get together in Santa Rosa too!!! That is if they sell the tickets to the right place!!!
Yaaayyyy!!!

He doesn't really have any people working on his site.....he does it when he gets a free moment, which explains why nothing ever changes on it. (my new pet theory of his crappy website).E.C. Lover wrote:Here's to not hating each other!!
Still no word from the E.C. site bastards.
I'm choosing to think positively.
You say positively, I say you are in rampant denial!!!!
Are you driving when you are over here? We could caravan, driving crazy speeds........

Six days without a response, positivity is out the window.
We are flying in the night of the 10th and then rent a car when we get there.
We're making a long weekend/business trip out of it. I work in the wine business, so i'm going to visit some of the wineries we represent while we're there and that way my boss will pay for the plane tickets.
I am so ready for that trip!

Misha, it was to do with your quoting of ECL's whole post each time, but it's ok, quote on as you wish.
You mentioned earlier that you were having difficulty quoting how you'd have liked. Let me give you a basic rundown:
You can have several separate quotes in a post, just highlight what you want to appear quoted and click 'quote'. Then, if you want to attribute something to a specific poster (though you may chose not to attribute it to anyone, and just have it as a simple quote) include a '=' and their name in commas in the first square bracket bit that will appear around the text. Like this: [quote="Misha"] (you probably have just been clicking 'quote' from within other people's posts, but you can do it this way too. Thread posts are available at the bottom of the screen as you type).
In any case, you can just delete extraneous parts from them that you don't want quoted; so you don't have to quote their whole post, if you don't want to that is). Don't forget, you have the preview option to see if it comes out right. And, you can always edit (which might help you avoid the much derided phenomena of double posting; it might occur to you to stick all the info in one post rather than on two or more, if you decide to ammend an initial posting). I just got home and I'm winding down drunkness, la la la.

Okaaaaaay...
Wasn't my ORIGINAL QUESTION:
Who'll be at Benaroya Hall, 200 University Street, Seattle, Washington, 98111 on Monday, March 8, 2004, at 8:00 p.m.??? (Mark S. Taper Auditorium, that is, UW campus, most likely)...
And what the hell is this other shit about??
(Sorry...too much beer, and a bit cranky)....
