Are YOU okay - that's always the most important thing. Cars can be replaced. Not always easily, but anyhow, are you okay?

WHAR: does this explain why you haven't visited the 'How do you...' thread? I've been awaiting your presence.
Hope you're OK. Nasty things, cars.

Yes, I am okay. A neverending headache, and a little down, but I'm okay.
This car was basically all I had to be proud of. A brand new car, 6,000 miles in. It's not totalled, but I'm the genius who has the $1000 dollar deductible on my insurance.
And I got issued the citation, which is insanity. It's the age game, I tell you.

Glad to hear you're okay.

My mom's Toyota met a semi in a bad way when I was 18. Utterly and unquestionably my fault. Just be glad that no one -- not you and not anyone else -- was hurt. (In my accident, if the truck driver had acted differently, he might have creamed a motorcylist -- THAT would have been bad.)

It wasn't me you that were so deliberately not acknowledging...
Anyway, it wouldn't have been so sad, you had insurance. And at least you were ok.

no that's not true, whar. you've been back a while now and not one punk-ass bratty outburst. you can be proud of that!
but I'm sorry about the wreck. take a page from John Prine. Things Could Be Worse.

Sadly, I don't make coffee. But my donuts have passed all recent inspections (the sticks are key!).

Me too. For brunch at a Manhattan or LA deli, with Philadelphia creamcheese and butter + blueberry jam on top. Toasted of course.
And lots of creamcheese please, me often forget to eat, but when me eat I take what I fancy. If I see something tempting on the menu that is, otherwise I want to leave... I'm not on a diat, God bless that I'm free... on this chapter. Hello ! Would drive me nuts...

It would be un-French to be on a diet.

No, quite the contrary. There is a problem at the moment, with many kids being to fat cause they eat junk. Otherwise people generally pay attention to what they eat ! Unless they have decided not to care...
But you were very delicate, in the way you took to point out the typo on diet! See you later, gentleman.
