About Gainsbourg, WWS. He may have had perverse thoughts and fantasms that transpired in his work, but he was a shy, modest, and very decent man. I think that the core of him was not perversity but despair. In particular, he always thought of himself as a failure, whatever his huge success, because ...

Your categorisation with "good" or "bad" is too hard for me. I prefer "I like it" or "that doesn't do it for me".

Thanks for providing the "solution", I was interested. Had wanted to help you but had to give up.

The original version was easy to understand (German was my first foreign language), but litteral translation wouldn't work. The English song sounds like an adaptation. It's nice.

I don't understand why Katie Melua is categorized in "Jazz". Anyone knows about that ?

Her latest album ("Piece by Piece") was good enough to make it in "Pop/Rock".

Guys, Katie Melua is also impressive as a singer/songwriter...

She will be doing a concert in Paris in March, I wish to go but I don't like to plan that far ahead, so I'm hesitating.

Extreme Honey, I guess it depends to whom you are indebeted. What are you studying, may I ask ? Ot., I was joking about the movie Gilda, an old black & white starring Rita Hayworth. And your casting for me in Bleak House isn't so stereotypical. It would take real acting for me to mistreat a maid...

That's it. I got caught in Germany where I was sent for the summer vacations during highschool. Dortmund against the Bayern (led by "Kaiser" Franz). Thrilling. I soon lost interest because the French team was too hopeless, and then I was busy. It came back in 1998, during the semi finals, ...

I don't have one really, I am not such a footie, just an occasional couch potatoe who doesn't even know the rules. Only I keep an eye on the "Equipe de France", and I like to watch them together with other people because it's fun, especially when my younger sister is there, her comments ar...

I had the same question (in France it's not).

There were rumors that the marriage ceremony was planned in Russia (apparently there is a loophole in the legislation); But the Authorities got the jitters and opposed it.

Thanks Otis. That shouldn't be too difficult, I'll take the part.

You're not taking great risks on me, are you ? If I wanted Gilda's you wouldn't give it to me, but then you would be right. :)

For Christmas : The Christmas oratorio

NB : for bedtime, Chopin "Nocturnes" are most efficient, because very little emotion provoking (unless they remind you of something specific that work you up).

Me I don't know what sort of charater I was cast in, never mind I'm grateful that I was given a couple of things to play. Given the choice there's one part I'd be interested in : Maddie in "Moonlighting" ! Yeah she's a bitch, but I think a little practise could do me good (and once I had a...

Oh not El Greco please, his paintings frighten me. I like Titiano very much, for example the paintings with Venus, always the same beautiful face and venitian blond tresses. However, my favorite painting of Titiano could be described as frightening. It is called "Ecce Homo" (face of Jesus ...

Yes I went to the meet up, thank you guys for being nice to me and sorry I had to leave before dinner. But I was first in with VG, so I spent over 3 hours in there, and that's the longest time I ever spent in a pub. Did VG tell you that I dragged him next door to the Savoy for coffee ? I figured it ...
