"River in Reverse" has the feel of "Riverboat" - performed by EC and the Confederates circa 1986, which I am pretty sure was a Toussaint song. If I am not delusional in thinking this, then this certainly lends credence to the idea that it will be part of the Costello/Toussaint collaboration.
