Very different albums and down to personal taste. It's Trust by a country mile for me.

Neither of them are among my favourites, but I at least listen to Trust, whereas Painted From Memory never has any desire to be played on my cd player.

I'm sure that's a lie. Have you ever consulted with PFM about PFM's desires? Just because
you don't want to play it...
You selfish bastard.

I don't like Painted From Memory. I like Trust. Put two and two together.
Yeah, it's kinda like that.

It only took my little finger to blow you away.

Not hard for me, as I haven't committed any time to listening to PFM. I like Trust, but for me it's a lot like getting a massage from someone who is watching TV. It's good, but they are distracted...
Where are the strong?
Who are the trusted?

Good analogy Misha. What did you score on your SATs?

It just so happens I am the Queen of Analogies.....
It's like hitting the bar when the bell rings and always getting the food...
Sorry. Had to do it.
The Trust analogy is one of my favorites cause it just seems to hit the nail on the head...

Trust has always been top 5 for me. Much under-rated.

This was a hard one for me, too of my favorite EC albums that I think are much underrated pitted against each other. I had to vote for "Trust" even though PFM is actually a lot more consistent.
Still, "Clubland," "You'll Never Be a Man", "Strict Time", "Lover's Walk" and lots of the king of the keyboard jungle make me love this one with the fierceness of a mother bear for cubs (or something).

Trust.
PFM is a great album but T is in the top...eight(?) for me.

Yeah it's Trust... but PFM is good, Toledo is amazingly excellent and great. Only thing that I felt it lacked....not enough Bacharachesque Flugel horns for my liking (and the backing singing is scary)!
