Geographical location game

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

A bit too easy just to rattle off a few of these. What if each person had to name a song about a place near where they live? For me:

Millbrook - Rufus Wainwright
Mother, Moose-Hunter, Maverick

Lebanon, TN - Ron Sexsmith. Probably my favorite song from the first album. I've driven by Lebanon, but never stopped.

Best my small town is going to get. The Abington PA Masacree, about getting caught pissing in a local park. I'm about a five-minute walk from that. So, really local. And yes, the band is called Black Vomit.

Barring that, I'm sure there's something out there about Philly, and I think the Bloodhound Gang did something about the wonders and joys of Pennslyvania, such as they are.
Why don't you write about it in your blag?

For those of us who live in New York City, this just gets ridiculous.

Why? He does actually live near Eton.

Indeed if you met him you would think he is a public schoolboy. He used to be a fag.

[note: you have to be acquainted with the English public school system to get this jokey reference]

Grantchester Meadows - Pink Floyd

Can't remember hearing the song ever (from Ummaguma). Nice place for a picnic in summer, especially at night after punting down the river at night, or to walk the dog.

Only a few miles outside of Cambridge, but feels like you're really out in the country (apart from the sound of traffic from the not so distant motorway).
