Is that the BatMobile?

No, that's a 1957 DeSoto Adventurer.

The Batmobile that was used in the old TV show was created from a Lincoln showcar from the '50's called "Futura". I believe it was the SoCal customizer Barris that did the work. No doubt I got a picture of it, somewhere.

By the way, that Batmobile was "the BEST Batmobile EVER"!

Most of my car photos come from the web. I do take my own shots of certain cars, mostly at museums or shows. I'm just into old iron, the look, the nostalgia, it's fun.

Sorry to hear that you can't post a photo, but I am curious as to how you were able to post an avatar. You should be able to post a photo from wherever that avatar photo came from. What the difference is could be your problem.

Well, this photo comes from Gillibeanz. This is her daughter, Claire, who just turned 23. She is currently a journalism student. Beautiful, Gilli! Please send me pics of the rest of your kids as well!

Rope~it's funny you said that about the avatar because I thought the same thing. But, alas, the avatar and the photos come from the same place.

And about those cars....I would love to take a ride in a machine like that. Heck, it would be cool just to sit in one!

PoP, he does have big arms--a striking resemblance to the Arm Man already posted in lieu of OS. And Laps, he's got beautiful teeth! Spooks and I were going to color him blonde, but he got down on his knees and begged us not to....

actually i'm wanted in 7 states and unwanted in 42. florida is still undecided. also, moody gets confused--i have beautiful arms and big teeth. they are fake and were installed almost 30 years ago a couple years after bustin' them across a kids temple during flag football. i nearly killed him and went running off the field cryin like a baby. you see i was a trumpet player at the time. and the teeth are fake too, ba dum bum ching. but meeting board members was wonderful and my 10 seconds of fame will soon gloriously be over. spooky has just been too busy today i believe to post them. if you click on the fotolog website spooky tags on to her posts you'll get to see a dandy picture of my kids! i got my photos of this wonderful event developed today and must figure out how to forward them because i got a beaut of mr swung apparently sleeping. you might as well put a "i thought this was the presley reunion" sign on his head.

Okay, okay. Yeah, I've been busy - hubby out of town, kids to dentist to get teeth pulled, nephew sick so I have to watch him, blah blah blah.

Sigh. Finally the moment so many have waited for. I convinced Oily he wasn't too unsightly to post a picture of, so here are a few.

The first is of Oily and his family. He and Mood both have wonderful families, and I regret that I just didn't manage to get one of Mood's kids and hubby all at the same time.
