Doc in the Hospital

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Well, you guys will be happy to know that Doc went back to the doctor today for a review of things so far, and his blood pressure was MUCH better.

I'm just glad we caught things in time.

I thought I would give a brief update. I haven't worked but a couple of days since the incident. I took the first week completely off and parts of the second for us to visit my mother (and the Chaffin Barn dinner theatre) and to wait for a plumber who still hasn't arrived. :(

After some initial medicine adjustments, I seem to have leveled out on the blood pressure medicine and my BP is regularly in the 130-140 over 80-90 range. This is where my doctor wants it. Spooky and I are trying to walk more and we have walked about 4 miles the past two days. I have lost a little weight since that Friday but have more to go.

Thanks for all the well wishes and thinking of me and Spooky during all this. :)

Hi doc,

I'm sorry I've only just seen this thread and haven't commented before, but I'm delighted to see that you're on the road to recovery.

Take good care
