Well he did say that he would give free tickets for the next time he plays a show in Norfolk to anyone who was inconvenienced provided they show adequate proof of purchase . Of course, when he next plays in Norfolk and in what guise is anyone's guess...

Bunch of wankers.
This is why I usually never go to "big" concerts.

Well, at least Costello tried to bring the message across by papers and news. And I guess when the people who didn't know arrived at the theatre they would have been told by the employees there, so they were just whining.
Zombies man, they freak me out.

Sing when you're whining, you only sing when you're whining...

I'm used to seeing concerts finish at 11pm so 11.30pm isn't so bad. I don't know what they're moaning about. I went to Leicester and Birmingham which takes me over 2 hours to drive home from.

In the days of old, it was EXPECTED that the headliner act would hit the stage an hour late or more. I have seen many shows since, and the only show that I can ever recall starting right on time was a recent Los Lobos show at the HOB Anaheim. 'course, all the kids were backstage with the wives, so there was probably some family pressure to get the kids home and in bed for school the next day.

But I was shocked.
