Things we have done this week while stoned out of our minds

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Things we have done this week while stoned out of our minds

Post by El Vez »

1. Sat on the living room couch for several hours straight.
2. Watched The Weight of Water and Jackass: The Movie.
3. Stared at my girlfriend's cats.
4. Stared at my girlfriend.
5. Stared at the carpet.
6. Stared at the ceiling.
7. Nearly wept over the fact that there wasn't any calzone left from dinner.
8. Debated making calzone.
9. Thought better of it and debated asking girlfriend if SHE would make me another calzone.
10. Ended up eating string cheese and ice cream.
11. Fell asleep.

Sarah Polley should have won Best Supporting Actress for The Weight of Water, by the way.

Crap....now I know what I need to do this weekend. Purely for research and so I can post in this thread, of course.
A lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. Do you think when Jesus comes back he ever wants to see a fuckin' cross? It's kind of like going up to Jackie Onassis with a rifle pendant on.

hmmm lemme see... so hard to remember... now why is that?

Oh yes. Though 'out of my mind' would be exaggerating... us oldsters have to pace ourselves...

- Took a lot of pictures. Great stoner activity.
- Over-cheerfully and energetically helped bus some empty bowls, etc., at a pal's 40th b-day party
- Came up with "fucking brilliant" idea for a writing project I'm working on... ha! Acatully it's not a bad idea...
- Sorted my son's Lego from his Playmobil (not for nothing did they call drugs 'Mother's Little Helper'...)
- Cooked up a storm

Haha, it is a great stoner activity, isn't it Mug?!! I used to paint and draw loads, too.

- Watched Eastenders with a vested interest.
- Ate something called a 'Winder'. Never again.
- Listened to the WHOLE Busted album. Never again.
- Nodded along to the world's most boring person talk about NOTHING BUT herself. I thought what she was saying was the bee's friggin' knees.
- Fallen asleep listening to said person.

i love eastenders so much i am not allowed to watch it. it comes on in something like four hour blocks on saturday afternoons - i'd have even less of a life than i do now if i gave into this particular temptation.

bunny, the droning on and on was obviously good for something - induced sleep.
... name the stars and constellations,
count the cars and watch the seasons....

-went swimming!
-went out on a lake in a little boat and watched bald eagles
-sat through a huge supper with my friends' super conservative Mom (of course she had no idea, but it was brutal for me)
-mingled with hippies at a market (bought organic chocolate from one of them, it was kinda gross but under the circumstances not so bad).
-played old nintendo (Super Mario 3! yeah! great stoner activity!)

I happened to visit a friend in British Columbia this past week...when I'm home it's usually much more boring...unfortunately

Nah, I enjoyed the storyline involving Alfie and Kat. It's the only time I do. Ohh, I forgot I gave a tin whistle-playing homeless person 10 quid, too.

LTZ--Have you been living a sheltered life, child??

--Working on CD Graphics/Dedication Stuff

--Called in "sick" to work, trying to make arrangements for my f*****g car to get fixed...finally!! 2 sessions w/my mechanic, and STILL not running right (maybe the third time will be the charm)

--Drinking beer, and listening to a "shuffle" of the Ramones Anthology , both disks, Joe Jackson's Steppin' Out, disk one, Nick Lowe's Jesus of Cool, and E.C.'s When I Was Cruel. Oddly enough, this seems to be the best mix to date...

But then, that COULD be the drugs talking...or the beer...

Spent half of the day on the phone with my IRA people, arranging a distribution check, so I can A) afford the work on the car, B) afford a new wardrobe & pocket money for trip to Seattle on 8/23 (Joe Jackson Band at the Showbox!! Thanks again, sp00ks!), and, if anything's left over, pay off the damned IRS.

Mmmmmm---beeeeeer.

sat in silence and watched my girlfriend's lips as they spoke English and looked incredibly sexy

made stupid comments about the Uterus

made more stupid comments and pinching my girlfriend's nipples, scaring her and causing her to hate me for the next two days

tried to play guitar but it sounded like it was out of tune

wrote a song with my two best buddies

melted in the back seat of a Caddie on the way to a creepy club in the Tenderloin

tried to come down from the Ecstasy, but plunged instead into a paronoia
