The Shape of Things

Post by lipstickvogue »

Ok, I just got home from the cinema and MUST suggest...no, insist, that all of you go out and see the new LaBute film "The Shape of Things." ALL (didn't know it would be all) of the music in the film is EC. (Neil got a mention in the Thank you portion of Cruel's liners).

Also, although I am a huge fan of Labute's work (ever since he was my prof. at the university) I think that I am not bias in saying that all of you will really be able to take something away from this film. I thought it was brill!

If you guys go see it I'd be quite curious to read what you thought of it...

It is quite possible; now that LaBute has directed Nurse Betty his name carries a bit more weight. I would suggest looking for it in an art-film cinema or uni(versity)-cinema. I think it should open to a few more screens once the reviews hit ... it is an amazing film! But then my tates in film run a bit abstract.
