Yah..
Went to see Nirvana at Roseland, in October of 1993 even though I was sick and thought I probably shouldn't be out... Still it was worth it...
What was the most romantic thing anyone's ever done for you?

Stay up 'til about 2 am, then go to bed and sleep in 'til around 10am....eat toast and tea in bed and lounge around reading the paper and doing the crossword til about 1pm.....
But thats rarer than hens teeth these days as we are decorating weekends
What smell beings back what memory ?

when my grandmother died, my mother gave me her dishes. my grandma had alzheimer's and was in a nursing home the last 10 years of her life. I could not go to her funeral, because I had a two day old baby and the funeral was in MS--not far from oxford, btw. I tell you all this so you'll know I haven't been in her kitchen since I was about 17--that was the last time I can remember her cooking. anyway, later that year I got the dishes and put them up in the kitchen. I came home from work, opened that cabinet and stepped back in time. the dishes smelled like my grandma's farmhouse kitchen--this wonderful sweet-sour-yeasty-earthy kind of good smell. it seemed like a nice blessing on our house.

Like me, the "g" is silent.
