The only other time I can recall him acceding to an audience request was on one of the Spinning Songbook shows in Edinburgh in 1986 when a lady had written to Elvis to say it was her husband's birthday and Elvis announced it and got him up to spin the wheel.

It must have been really cool for Elvis to announce your birthday on stage.
