Has this already been discussed in here? Anyone have any thoughts on it?
I really dug the first half, as it really highlighted all his commercial work which I feel is absolutely brilliant.. The second half was a bust though, and I felt Laurie Anderson's grating voice really took away from the whole experience, not to mention that we never actually hear Andy Warhol in his own voice, it's just Jeff Koons' bad impersonation..
Overall, I think it could have been a whole lot better.. Only about 3 people were interviewed, and none of the characters at the factory, or even Lou Reed for godsakes..
