Then, in a daytime exclusive, some of the best rockers in music have come together to form THE NEW BASEMENT TAPES, and they're here to perform “Kansas City” from their upcoming CD, “Lost on the River.” The band brings together legends and rising stars, including Elvis Costello, Marcus Mumford (Mumford and Sons), Jim James (My Morning Jacket), T Bone Burnett, Rhiannon Giddens (Caroline Chocolate Drops), and Taylor Goldsmith (Dawes). These amazing talents gathered at Capitol Studios in March to add music to 24 lyrics that were found and identified as Bob Dylan's original compositions from 1967 during production of “The Basement Tapes.” The new songs were recorded by the artists, produced by T Bone Burnett, and will also be a part of a Showtime special this month. Before you hear it anywhere else, watch it on Ellen!

Can anyone suggest another TV appearance where EC has played piano accompaniment?
I know he dabbled with a little piano when talking to Tracy Macleod about the recording of Spike, and that there are some videos of him singing songs from North, but has he ever played piano (rather than guitar) to accompany someone else? This could be a first (and last).
