It's the mighty Cosmos himself. So what am I playing here? Two Dylans, a nice jazz piece, Elvis doing That's Alright Mama or whatever it's called, and Radiohead doing Just. Nice sequence. And a voice popped up to tel me I was listening to Radio Free Nashville. Is it the person that comes after you? Is this a live broadcast? I'm lost.

And yes, Otis, it airs from 9 pm until 11 pm your time.

I can still use more voices for the show! If interested, pm me.

OK, will remember for future ref.

I've now signed up! I see some other friends of ours there.

So the thing I have on now is introduced by Dave Wheeler, I think, and started wiith Radiohead. Still unclear as to whether this is 'live' or archive.

Clicking through the playlists. Awesome! e.g. Another Girl, Another Planet. Love the eclecticism. Very EC.

Was trying to access the podcast archive, and a list of things appeared, all with a July date, and when I clicked on the blue link for more, it just said 'Future home of Radiocosmos.com'. Eh?

The computer popped into automation for about 20 minutes after my show. The show after mine ("Pop Top") is live.

Cosmosis airs from 3-5 pm central time every Friday.

My brother-in-law does the website, and he also does the Podcast stuff on my site.

My website is still under construction, but it can be accessed for the time being at http://www.radiocosmosis.com/site.

Sending out the playlists to members - that's a smashing idea, Otis! I like it!

All suggestions are welcome, as are requests.

Cool! Glad my wrong guess sounds like a good suggestion. 'Pop Top' is what I was hearing.

My request is the song I can't stop playing at the moment, The Beautiful South 'A Little Time'. I've always been a bit down on them, a bit smug and too knowing, but this is fantastic. Probably helps that Paul Heaton doesn't sing on it. It's very funny. Man sings 'I need a little time, I need a little space' etc. and woman with divine if slightly ersatz American-sounding voice sings 'You need a little space for your big head, you'll some room for a thousand beds' etc. Gorgeous tune. I've liked a lot of their singles and they're a good radio band. I have no idea how obscure/well-known they are in the US, but your show is so impressively eclectic that I'm sure it will fit right in.

Great choice, Otis. I like The Beautiful South a lot and "A Little Time" is one of my favourite songs. They sure deserve to be played by Cosmos.

Made me think I must get a Best Of. Couldn't handle too much of them, but they have made many great songs. I'd like to hear their covers LP, too. Living Thing should be fun.
