Speaking of Elijah Wood, has anyone seen that "Green Street Hooligans" movie? I'm kind of intrigued by it, having once had the shit scared out of me at a pub near Upton Park.
I think it would be a real challenge to create a creepier character than the role of Kevin in Frank Millers "Sin City" (Robert Rodriquez with Quentin Tarantino). Evil incarnate with the little Mr. Frodo fruity grin, while he cannibilzes all the pretty girls.
I think the ring really did get to the boy.
And Sin City is a cinemagraphic masterpiece. Puke index is a 9.7, and that ain't all bad.
Sheeeesh!!!!

As much as I dislike TYM, I have to give credit where it's due. It simple is the BEST cover art.

It's laughably awful. Wood doesn't cut it once as a hard man, terrible clunky expository dialogue, comedy of the year by a long way.
Elijah should give up and become a hobbit. The international stage is too much for his feeble mentality.

He's a remarkable and oddly underrated actor. Looking forward to seeing both movies -- though playing a nerdy, neurotic Jew is less of a stretch than an intimidating soccer hooligan. Considering he weighs like ten pounds, I think Elijah would have to learn some major-league kung-fu to become a physical threat to the your typical rampaging Briton.
Bobster, I'm curious why you think EW is oddly underrated as an actor. Has he done much as an adult other than the Ring movies? He was a great child actor. But his roles as an adult (at least those in the movies I've seen) have always been supporting, and have played to his quirky physicality (tiny body; gigantic, spookily blue eyes). His role in the Ring was ideally suited to these physical quirks. He reminds me of a young Mickey Rooney whithout the spunk, and in danger of being similarly typecast.
Wow....TYM art reminds me how thin and spindly EC was, once upon a time....much like many of us perhaps ??? ;) Damn, seeing the album cover makes me want to go out and buy a turntable somewhere, so's I can fire up all my old crackly/skipping lp's such as this classic. Damn, I need a new turntable
Is there such thing as a digital turntable? For the daddys that wanna keep on' playin'?

Turntables are designed to play vinyl, which is an analog format. So it's not a question of what kind of technology the turntable happens to be, it's the format it's playing.. it's the same reason there aren't analog DVD players.
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.
