Maybe someone can help with a question that came up the other day.

How many different songs did the Beatles record?

I am assuming that the question was something like: "From 1962 to 1970, how many songs did The Beatles record?"... in which case the answer is 214 (remember, Google is your friend

I found these statistics on a Beatles website:

Total: 183
Total Songs Where Lennon Is The Main Composer: 73
Total Songs Where McCartney Is The Main Composer: 69
Total Songs Where Harrison Is The Main Composer: 22
Total Songs Where Starkey Is The Main Composer: 2
Total Songs Where Lennon & McCartney Is The Main Composer: 17
Total Songs Sung By Lennon: 72
Total Songs Sung By McCartney: 66
Total Songs Sung By Harrison: 28
Total Songs Sung By Starr: 11
Total Songs Sung By Lennon & McCartney: 24

I don't think unreleased songs are included in these statistics.
