so glad to be an elvis fan

Post by billyboy2674 »

cant wait to hear his new albums. In a world which has lost it's sense of what music is(today's being especially pathetic)it's so refreshing to hear someone who still has something to say, both verbally and musically.
And even some of the veteran artists have lost their touch(elton john in particular-his latest material has been so lousy it's made me cringe, though I've never been a fan of his, man, has he lost it-lol)....
So here's to wishing that more people will finally notice elvis and his crew-got my fine wine ready for when the lp's are out.! 8)
-let me tell you about her-
hush now,I've said too much.......

you, billyboy, need to listen to Daryl Palumbo. Music isn't lost at all, it just takes a bit more effort to find.

http://www.headautomatica.com - 4 streaming songs
http://www.glassjaw.com - 11 streaming samples

Head Automatica is an uppity, happy group.
Glassjaw is a straight forward, strange time changes, hardcore band.

Same vocalist, both are great.

And if you don't like what you hear your a moron. Daryl Palumbo is the most important force in music today. His lyrics put everyone else to shame. For example this great set of lines from "Negro Spiritual"

You wanna pop pop pop
You wanna click click click
You wanna shoot
You wanna shoot
You wanna shoot
Shoot everything you came to shoot
Do everything you came to do

Yay-e-yeah
I'll put assassins in your little head yeah
Yay-e-yeah
I'll put assassins in your little head yeah

Or this one from "Tara Reid is a Whore"

you scream louder then fiction and you get down on your knees
and tear open your heart so I could love you and your disease
you lick the hand that feeds you and kiss the blade that cuts
I want to fuck you in your gods hands when your praying bites the dust

Antoher classic from Palumbo. What a beautiful man.

haha the smiths don't make me laugh. Morrisey is just a big Daryl Palumbo wannabe. Now go crawl away to your cave and stop existing. You are dead to me.

Haha, exactly!

Long Island Hardcore SCENE!

Yeah, their first album is very much different than Worship & Tribute- though I prefer Worship & Tribute myself.
