The press junket was out in force on this last night. Kevin Kline on Dave, Ashley Judd on The Daily Show AND Conan. Of course Conan never even talked about the movie. (is he on coke? What is up with the skeleton Conan these days?)

Anyway, Kline mentioned Elvis singing in the movie. Does he also make an appearance? Anyone know?

Opening in "selected cities". Unfortunately, my city seems devoid of any art. They'll play Garfield here for weeks, but I'll never see this movie unless I make a trip to LA!

I saw a trailer on the film last weekend when I went to the movies. It looks REALLY good, at least from the trailer. We saw about half a dozen trailers and it was the only movie that my wife and I both agreed that we wanted to see. Elvis was featured, leading a big band, and the trailer said the movie "featured" songs by Elvis Costello, among others.

I never realized the power of Alanis Morrisette's voice. Elvis didn't even sound like Elvis when I saw the preview.

In the theatre I let out a loud "YEAAAAH!!!" when they said "Elvis Costello". It was fun.
