Willie Dixon.
Wrote tons of those classic Chess sides for Muddy, Howlin' Wolf, etc.
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

'High water risin' - risin' night and day
All the gold and silver are being stolen away
Big Joe Turner lookin' East and West
From the dark room of his mind
He made it to Kansas City
Twelfth Street and Vine
Nothing standing there
High water everywhere'

Kurt Weill. Susan's Song breaks my heart into thousands and thousands of pieces. There is a very cool anthology series called American Songbook and I highly recommend the compilation job they did on Weill. Highlights include Louis Armstrong's immortal Mack The Knife, Lotte Lenya's Pirate Jenny and Lena Horne with My Ship. Just stellar stuff.
