It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think that you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt

The Amish get a bad rap in my estimation.
Most people don't realize the close association between the Amish and NASA.
The Amish actually were deeply involved in knitting covers for the landing capsules during the Apollo missions.
Unfortunately they tended to burn up during re-entry.

Isn't it surprising that the Amish would even HAVE a web site? I thought they eschewed telephones, the internet and other connections to the outside world.

that's what I was thinking, too, Pov, but closer inspection reveals that it is not run by the Amish, but by an organization promoting tourism in Amish country. They're sneaky, them Amish.

I originally thought Misha had just spelt her website name incorrectly or that it was an anagram to help people like me.
Misha - is there a mishanews.com?
Looking on the website I must tune in regularly for news about Quilt Corner.

I just meant it as being a poorly constructed anagram to help easily confused people like me. See - clear as mud!

and I was afraid your reply would be all anagramatic. anagramish? anagramally? anagramic?
it isn't, is it?

I think Amish girls are sexy in a sexually repressed school girl kind of way!
