Happy Birthday DrSpooky!

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Happy Birthday DrSpooky!

Post by spooky girlfriend »

I just wanted to take a minute to say Happy Birthday to my special someone. He doesn't get to post as much as he would like, but I promise you all that he has worked hard to help keep the board running smoothly over the past few months.

One more year in your 30's DrS - enjoy!

Many Happy Returns DrS.

Firstly thank you for all the hard work you do for the board. This part of the message also goes to Blue and Taz.

Secondly, anyone who can keep Spooky in check deserves the utmost respect!

Have a great day!

Happy Birthday to the man with the most incredible sense of direction I have ever seen. If you are going to get lost in Birmingham looking for a place to eat....this is the guy to have in the car with you. Thank you for all you do for this board and for being a gentleman to Mrs. Spooky.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. She will say it is sappy but just waking up next to Spooky is a nice present.

Seriously I am sorry for not posting sooner today. Sometime yesterday the main server for the free software project I maintain got hacked into and we have been furiously trying to repair the damage. :(

Happy Birthday Dr. S! You and Spooky are an integral and incredibly important part of our board. I'll never forget your kind words re: my EC cover for the tribute disc. Hope you have a great one!

Thanks again for all the well wishes. Mrs S and the kids showered me with attention and gifts. She made a wonderful cake with her most excellent homemade icing. We went out to dinner at Wild Flour Bistro (http://www.wildflourbistro.com/ ) which is a local favorite of ours which we frequent. They always come up with something special for the kids. Anyone who stops by Huntsville will have to try it with us.

I suppose I need to post to the new CD thread since she got me the Beach Boys Sounds of Summer CD. I recall it as a double LP set which I borrowed a LOT. But this is remastered CD and so far sounds wonderful. There is real depth in these versions I don't ever remember in the LPs I had and still have. I was just thinking of when I saw them around 1980 or so. I think I stiil have the B&W photos around here I made of them.

Hopefully Spooky will share some Good Vibrations with me and listen to it since she is my Surfer Girl. : 8)
