Oliver's Army "Lipstick Vogue" is playing while I type. Excellent work. I'll bet it would be fun to just run with that and extend it about 20 minutes, letting the mood move you as you go. That would be fun to hear. The "yoooooou-uuu-oooooou...not just another mouth" is great intonation.
I'm thinking that you guys might have rehearsed this a time or two.
I wish I had the God-given talent. I can, however, whistle along to the entire Kill Bill Vol. I soundtrack while cooking pasta. And on my deathbed I plan to achieve total conciousness. So I got that goin' for me.

I think my favourite track was "Shallow Grave", cause it sounded like '79 Elvis doing '96 Elvis
I suspect all five tracks will end up on the tribute CD, because it's hard to say no to any of these.

This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

Likewise, pophead. If you played well enough for Ray Davies, you're more than good enough for me. And thanks very much for the praise, which from you is high.
Mr. Misery,
Your praise is no less high. I am enotmously gratified by your comments. I see why lapins thinks so highly of you, you silver-tongued devil.

King of Confidence, I love playing with those guys. Thay're all aces, as far as I'm concerned.
I'm so sorry sulky! PM me an address, and I'll send you a cd. That's the least I can do for all your hard work on the graphics.

Thanks for the offer, noise...
After some experimentation, found a way to access & download (thanks to my son, the MP3 king!)
Fantastic!! Even my son was impressed (having been forced to listen to E.C. since birth, and inundated with same for 16+ years)...He actually thought these were older studio cuts, or that it was E.C. on vocals with a slightly different back up band. It took me several conversations (and arguments) to convince him it was Oliver's Army.
At which point, another argument began...
GORDON: So, what's the band's name??
MOM: Oliver's Army.
GORDON: No, that's one of the songs. I mean, what's the BAND'S NAME??
MOM: I told you, Oliver's Army.
GORDON: Mom, you're soooo STUPID! That can't be the band's name it's the name of one of the SONGS!!
Kind of a home grown version of "Who's On First?"
Love & Kisses....

However, I would love to have a copy of anything the Army's managed to record....will PM you with my mailing address, Noise.
