Elvis & Diana arrive on the red carpet

One of our Canadian stations of course found Elvis & Diana because of their dire need to show Canadian celebrities like Diana Krall on TV. And so they asked the typical question to Diana: "What are you wearing tonight?"

And Elvis and Diana kind of looked each other, and Elvis started laughing. It was great!

Joan Rivers cornered them as well--she basically spoke only to Elvis, about the Cold Mtn soundtrack. Strangely, she didn't mention Sting.

that'd be why you get to put the DR before your name--I wondered what the hell that thing was.

Thought Alison was great. Wished Elvis was louder. Saw that mic in front of his spot and thought 'hell yes!! he is going to sing!' Blaming it all on them damn yankee winters.

I could not see the SHOES!!

Ooh Elvis!

I made my roommates pay special attention when he was on and they obliged my enthusiasm quite nicely.

So now were all rooting for him . . .

I also wish he'd gotten to sing and play the uke.

Holy Coat And Hat: I actually enjoyed your photo too. It was a close view. I was just wondering why Diana didn't have time to wash her hair before the Oscars.

And in those WireImages pics - dang, I didn't realize T-Bone was so much taller than Elvis. He dwarfed him!

I think Mood mentioned that Joan Rivers had cornered Elvis and the Mrs.
That was too irresistible for me, so I went and TiVo'd an encore of her E! show. It was hilarious. I swear, Elvis is never at a loss for words. He's always so cool.
Diana really looked a bit miffed by the fact that Ms. Rivers (aside from not being able to pronounce her name) apparently didn't have a clue as to who she was and didn't include her in her conversation with Elvis.

But she did ask them both "who they were wearing"?
