The CC can be far flung or left alone...........it's your choice.

CC&7
Of these, I chose Canadian Club. This is because almost everything Canadian is wonderful. Jack D is too hard, Jim B is to Kentucky, and Southern Comfort is for sweet boys trying to get used to the stark pucker of whiskey.
If you want to drink from the art of Canadian blending, there's still nothing better than Crown Royal, in my book. V.O. is okay, too. That and some 7-UP.
Fuckin-a.

But before that, I'd have to agree w/Rope there.

Having to choose from the list, I'd have to pick the Jim Beam, but, like Rope, my "Whiskey-of-Choice" would have to be the Crown Royale.
Does anyone else remember that 1980's magazine ad:
A picture of a large bottle of Crown Royale, broken (smashed) on a cobblestone street with the following caption--
"It's enough to make a grown man cry."
Damn, that was a good one!

I think I died one time drinking Makers Mark, now just the slightest whiff and I'm yacking up my socks.
I vote for Bushmills.....ice. Lead crystal tumbler. All things Irish. Well, ok, the ice can be local.

Aaah. An Irishman in Texas. Are you actually Irish or do you just have a love for the Irish drink.
Gotta love America.
Welcome, Lee.

1. Lee is a woman. A very nice one who drove a long way to come see Oliver's Army play and danced her ass off.
2. Bushmill's is very good. I also like Jameson. But then it's Irish Whiskey and not bourbon again.
I'm very particular about my bourbon.

I was drinking Makers at 16 yrs. old. That is my favorite bourbon. George Dickel is my fav whiskey. JD tastes too much like charcoal. My favorite liquor these days is Tarantula tequila, as cold as I can get. No chaser required, and no aftertaste like Cuevo.
Now I'm the invisible man, and you can't see me.
