HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL...I hope you all worship evil in happiness.

I went to a Halloween do in the Zoology museum at my place last night, and they'd put hats on all the stuffed animals. :D

I was a gorilla, but none of my mates dressed up.

I came to work in bunny ears and a big fake fur coat, giving high-fives to everyone I passed in costume. The boy in the cubicle next door said, "hubba hubba" when I passed him in the hall, and I realized that bunny ears might be a bit racy for the office. Not as racy as the corset I'll be wearing tonight, but still...

What are other people dressed up as?

As I said in another thread Ms. BA...pictures MUST be posted...
A lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. Do you think when Jesus comes back he ever wants to see a fuckin' cross? It's kind of like going up to Jackie Onassis with a rifle pendant on.

Jackson Doofster-I actually have to carve a pumpkin today. But would you dare to handle the pumpkins of the immortal bard? Few have been choosen but many have called.

VG-Elvis is more frightening, don't you think?

Mr. Misery-No need to tell me I know exactly how much you resemble the beloved entertainer.

Miss BA-I still have my Lady Macbeth costume so that will do. Juliet is nixed I'm too old and the bodice too low cut. Do post a bunny picture.

Rope-You're back! And you've brought pictures. I can't think of a better hijacker. . .

Well, DrSpooky and I will be Romeo & Juliet tonight. Unfortunately we didn't decide this until yesterday, so I am still making Romeo's costume. I must be insane. I don't have time to be on here. I've been listening to TJL for inspiration.

My kids are Grim Reaper, Homer Simpson, Yu-Gi-Oh, and a dinosaur, and my nephew is Spiderman. Will post pics later today.

I was Little Bo Peep last night for the trick or treaters. That was fun, though I was one of the few people that dressed up, so i felt a bit overdressed. Oh well - the kids got a big kick out of it :)

I defaced a Seals & Crofts 45 with the word "world" and I hold it. Get it? I'm a World Record Holder. ok, not a great costume, but it was my very own idea.

I took a Grouchy Ladybug to school, and I will take Kim Possible and a soccer head dude trick or treating tonight. Then I'm going to paw thru their candy and confiscate all the good stuff.
Like me, the "g" is silent.

Happy halloween everyone. I have tons of sweeties here ready for all those little horrors that are going to knock later. One year I couldnt be arsed and ignored the knocks only to find our car had been egged with about 6 eggs in the morning! I figured its cheaper to buy the sweets than to put the jag through the card wash!!

Halloween is still a lot of fun; it doesn't matter how old you get. It's great to be Someone Else for a day. Queen is my favorite.

My other favorite thing is to watch the person who decided not to dress up, because H. is all evil all the time, and now THEY feel like the dork.

I've got another idea. How about picking costumes for each other?

Like I think Noiseradio should go as his true persona: A skinny redneck who drives a big red pickup (compensation) with a rebel flag hanging in the back window--to hide the rifle rack, but with access to the beer windows. Dress: tight wranglers with a white ring on the back pocket, worn out boots, big shiny beltbuckle (compensation again) and a black t-shirt with the calvin-esque cartoon boy peeing on Osama.
Don't bury me 'cause I'm not dead yet.

Hob-noblin
Wit de goblin
De goblin girl
From da mystery world

Hob-noblin
Wit de goblin
She's black 'n green
'cause it's halloween

Raggedy black
Is the way she dress
Little green shoes
'n her hair's a mess
On halloween night
At de costume ball
She's a goblin girl
An' she can gobble it all

Image

She's a goblin
She's a goblin girl
She's a goblin
She's a goblin girl
I been hobblin'
'cause of the goblin
Goblin girl ...goblin girl

Some girls like
To dress like a witch
Some girls like to dress like a queen
Best way a girl
Can dress for me
Is in a goblin suit

Image

(they look so cute...)

When they're a goblin
There ain't a problin
When they're a goblin
I start a-wobblin'
Pink all over
Some is tan

Goblin girls
From every land
They look good
From any which-a-way
Every halloween
You can hear me say:
"goblin girl, take it away..."

Hob-noblin
Wit de goblin
De goblin girl
From da mystery world

Image

(trick or treat now...etc)
Talkin' 'bout the bad girls
All the goblin girls
Talkin' 'bout the bad, bad girls
The little goblin girls
Some are called doreen
Some are dressed in green
They're tricking your treat
But they're bad girls
They're very bad girls
(leprechaun light...etc.)
They make your face look like
You got scales on it

Image

But they're bad girls
They're very bad girls
(leprechaun light...etc.)
They make your face look like
You got scales on it
But that's okay...
When the green light shines down
On the black guys in the band
Everybody in the audience
Thinks they're seeing something
That looks like it's made out of
Fish skin
But coy leaves the green gels in the truss
Because he knows the guys in the front
Really enjoy looking like they've got
Scales all over their body...

i have been too busy to think about halloween party type stuff. i'm looking forward to sleeping in this weekend and cleaning the house. :)

Happy Halloween all!

For myself, I won't be dressing up (though I might decide to dress silly -- which I sometimes do anyway), but I will be reviewing a new musical film version of "Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde."

After that, there's some kind of pan-apartment party being thrown around the pool of my apartment (right in front of my place), so I guess I'll have to attend. Seeing as how just about everyone in my building is either a twenty-something idiot or crazed and aging, it should be quite a scene....

HAPPY HALLOWEEN ALL!!!!

Unlike Bobster who is having a party outside his house, I will be having a party inside mine!! Ok, slight exaggeration......four cats, two dogs, five toads and two fish tanks with me passing out candy....I'm calling it a party!!!

I haven't gotten to pass out candy in YEARS!!!! My life will now be complete.....

Maybe I'll crash Bobster's party afterwards......he'll never know....
