One of the greats.
The latest Dickinson-produced release I've been listening to lately is John Hiatt's Master of Disaster. At one point, wasn't Dickinson slated to produce part or all of The Deliveryman?
R.I.P.

Re: RIP Big Jim Dickinson
Really saddened by the news this past weekend- first encountered him years ago with his work with Gram Parsons and The Flying Burrito Brothers as well as his work with Alex Chilton and Big Star-there are so many albums that he had a hand in producing or playing on- my favorite moment is his piano work on "Wild Horses" for the Rolling Stones- he has left a valuable legacy and two very capable sons in Luther and Cody.
