Printing artwork

Post by Mikeh »

This may sound like a stupid question to many people, but here goes. On the EC gigography list is a link to the artwork of live CDs where appropriate. When I click on this I get a CD sized cover on my screen, but when I try to print the artwork is massive! And there seems to be no way of resizing. Help!

Hey - Did you double click on the image? When I click on the image it resizes. If that doesn't work, try importing and resizing the file using GIMP - http://www.gimp.org

If you're on Windows, then try Cover XP. It's free, handles loads of CD & DVD layouts, and is (mostly) idiot proof.

At the risk of sounding too simplistic, why not save the images to your computer before printing? Then you can edit/resize as much as you like using any program you want. Microsoft word is as good as anything! I usually find you need to add a touch of brightness. Check the size and print. Bingo
