If you feel that way as a sister, just wait until you have kids of your own.

Hey Moody, did you get one of these in the mail?

SEVIERVILLE, TN -- A church trying to draw people to a marriage seminar has created a scandal instead by sending out hundreds of postcards with red lips and the words "Red Hot Sex."

The mailing from The Gathering church in Sevierville, Tennessee, invites residents to hear pastor Gene Wolfenbarger and his wife reveal what the Bible says about sex in marriage in a series of four classes.

Class titles include "Sex! What Makes It Red Hot" and "Honey I Don't have A Headache."

One local resident said she had never received anything that suggestive in the mail before.

Wolfenbarger apologized to anyone who was offended, but said the mailing was meant to attract attention in a time when the American family is being destroyed by illicit sex.

YES I DID!!!!

I didn't read the whole thing, because I thought, well, probably what you thought when you thought of what a bible-based sex ed class might teach. But, honestly, it was a pair or red lips and "red hot sex" written out in cursive (because we know the little ones can't read that) - I don't know why anybody would get upset.

I had a feeling. Can you scan it and show it? I'm so curious. It just sounded like a funny story. As soon as Doc read it, I said, "Hey, I bet Moody got one of those."

Aw, that's okay. I just thought it would be a hoot.

Doesn't take much to mess with the minds of some in your lovely town Moody, does it? Doc and I were wondering if Jim saw it and took a six-pack over to the minister's house to discuss a few things. :-)

I don't need to explain that I didn't write it, right? I'm just the person with stamps.

"You ask, what is our policy? I can say: It is to wage war by sea, land and air, with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us; to wage war against a monstrous tyranny, never surpassed in the dark, lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy.

You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word: It is victory, victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival."

I returned home from a two day trip to South Jersey to an empty apartment. The boyfriend is at his brother's Bar Mitzvah, and I have the place to myself until Tuesday! I've already skipped, run laps, and jumped on the bed. Now what?

Have fun! Chuck E. Cheese is something to be enjoyed!

I went to my cousin's wedding yesterday. Beautiful ceremony, fun reception, excellent food (and a very cute photographer's assistant  ). She looked like a princess, and her girlfriend (now wife) looked quite dapper in a pants/vest combo. I can't believe they won't let them get legally marrried. You'll never see a couple more devoted or loving. People piss me the fuck off, they really really do.

EDIT (because double posting makes me feel like a huge geek)
I came into a bunch on vinyl today. Most of it seems to be from the seventies, but you know, I'm not sure. I never thought I'd own so much Bruce Springsteen. Cat Stevens and Boz Scaggs are the other two names I remember. The real treasure is a 5 album set of 'The Beginning of Motown' or something like that. Well, where to start with Bruce suggestions are welcome, I'll see what it is I have.

Good score Strict Time - the earlier the Bruce the better really, to a point, and if youve got Tea for the Tillerman, Catch Bull at Four or Mona Bona Jakon then youve scored some classic Cat Stevens too.

I've got some of that Cat Stevens too. Two copies of Tea For The Tillerman, in fact. Well, this is turning out better than I thought, looking through all of the Journey.....

I can remember the hype surrounding Born to Run by Springsteen in 75 - you know what? it was all worth it, still a great album. Also check out Darkness on the Edge of town, possibly Bruce's best

Chuck E. Cheese wasn't too bad. Awful pizza but not quite as loud as I remembered it. I was busting my balls playing games with my boy to try to get him enough tickets for a prize when some kid came along and handed me 400+ tickets. Bingo! Kieran went home with three new toys!
