The Beatles final album - All Things Must Pass

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

The Beatles final album - All Things Must Pass

Post by LessThanZero »

OK, this is a fantasy, so don't worry that Cold Turkey showed up here, in 1970. This double album would be just as perfect a send-off as Abbey Road was...think how beautiful these songs would be with all 4 performing together; George Martin at the wheel...

P.S. Blue, you might be the only one who likes this thread...

Why not give Ringo a go at the mic for "Photograph" or "It Don't Come Easy"? The timing would be right.
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

Nice thread, LTZ!

Harrison's tracks would sound SO much different with Martin's production rather than Spector's. Plus, would George have brought in those same musicians (Badfinger, Clapton, Dave Mason, etc.) had the tracks been released under the Fab Four name? Interesting thought....

Lennon's songs were so minimalist and lo-fi at that point that they probably wouldn't have changed much. And since McCartney played everything on his first album anyway, they would likely remain the same.
