Happy Birthday to the Plaything

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Happy Birthday to the Plaything

Post by Otis Westinghouse »

Happy birthday, scousegirl!

Bet you're out of your head right now, and still on a high from Friday.

24 - a great age to have turned.

Guys! Girls! That's the best thing I've ever seen, 'Boo. I had a laughing fit when I saw it, but in the nicest possible sense! Sorry you've had to put up with him on your avatar all these hours. Thank you so much.

Not too bad now, thanks Otis. The mother of all hangovers brought along her daughter, son and husband this morning. Just as long as I don't stand up too quickly I'll be okay.

Thank you for the bithday wishes, everyone! Here's hoping 24 will be as good as what some of you have said.

Love you all. Bunny.

Where dyo go out on the night PoP?

I always liked this little combo for a big one...

Varsity on Myrtle St,
The Flute (previously of firkin fame)
RSVP,
Modos,
Jacaranda,
Baa Bar,
then into the Immortal Razz, with floor sticky from the blood of blue angels.

Thank you, Oily.

LaughingC - Pan American Club, a bit of the Newz bar and then onto Baa Bar. On the whole a successful night in more ways than one.

You used to go to the Blue Angel? Jesus, that's a rough one. The first (and only) time I went I spent less than 10 minutes in there. A good place to go if you don't mind the dodgy being you wake up next to the morning after.

Pan American...classy!

Yeah you're right about the Razz, but there's a load of students in there, and can be a laugh. Apart from the dj who never played any f''king songs I requested...bast'rd didn't even have Olivers Army in his repertoire...

On the whole a successful night in more ways than one.

I was away this weekend so couldn't reply sooner, but happy birthday Plaything!
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

Plaything,

I'm just a slacker in the birthday department, so happy late birthday!! Hope you had a great one, now that it appears you have hit the quarter century mark!

(some sort of happy birthday singing emoticon here)

Thank you bobster, Poppet, Blue and Misha. All birthday wishes have been gratefully received!

I'd just like to add that verbal gymnastics is the coolest bloke in the world. 'Cos he such a nice man, he asked Elvis and Steve to sign a birthday card for me on Saturday at the Festival Hall. Steve wishes me "happy birthday indefinitely". :P I'm so happy! I don't care if he got my name wrong! Thanks VG (I hope you don't mind this public announcement). x
