Aw, how sweet! You guys beat me to starting the thread. I'm touched. And not just in the head.

Happy Birthday, Doc. I know it's been a long year with me and my unexpected early (very early) menopause and all the health stuff that I've encountered before finally getting a proper diagnosis. We've been up and down and all around. And still, you've managed to keep the board going with no outages or takeovers, and managing all upgrades and maintenance. What a guy.

Happy Birthday, my love.

To a man I have never met nor spoken with: I admire you and suspect you are a great father, a great husband, and a great person. Just watching and reading, but over the years, that is the impression that prevails. Happy Birthday

Well, I have met him and can attest that your impression is 100% accurate.

Happy (belated) Birthday!

Thanks for all the nice birthday wishes folks. It has been a quiet and long weekend here at the Spooky house. I did something to my back and have been very slow getting around. On a positive note, SG got me Cure for Gravity and this has given me some down time to read it.

Thanks again for the well wishes. I have a lot of fun caring for and feeding the computer that keeps The Board and The Wiki alive.

It was nice and quiet. I share my birthday with Queen Elizabeth, Bob Dylan, and one of our son's best friends, so Justin went there for the night. The chocolate cake with chocolate icing and chocolate curls all over it was divine.

We tried to geocache a bit but didn't have a lot of luck and my back started to hurt too much to be out. <sigh> old age.
