Happy Birthday Otis!

Happy Birthday Otis!

Post by Mechanical Grace »

Now that he's 42 he knows the answer to life, the universe, and everything. Or at least how to punctuate it.

Have a happy!

Happy Birthday Otis.

Sir Alex sends his regards by the way.

I'd love to buy you a beer or few on 28th but I know that's not possible.

Happy Birthday Otis -
42!? A mere spring chicken.
echos myron like a siren
with endurance like the liberty bell
and he tells you of the dreamers
but he's cracked up like the road
and he'd like to lift us up, but we're a very heavy load

Otis,

Thank you for making this forum an interesting place to be. I always enjoy reading your musings on music and life.

Happy birthday!
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

"Happy birthday to you,
Man Utd are poo,
But because it's your birthday
I wont diss old Roo

Happy birthday to you
Hope you have a great day
I'm not yet quite finished
There's more left to say

Make the most of your age
It's downhill from now on
Cos before you realize it
You will be gone!!

I can tell what you think
You wish i'd shut my face
Need to add just one last thing
- Hope your birthday is ace!!

I'll give it a whirl. You know, like a technicolor yawn..

Otis, Otis, you old coot
Did you get some birthday loot?
Will you shop at HMV
Or spend it on some revelry
With VG and So Lacklustre
(hit him with a feather duster)
Or take that dog out for a walk
He’s guaranteed not to talk
And tell your age to passersby
For dogs and puppies can tell no lie
(And your age in canine years
Would bring a full grown man to tears!)

Enjoy your day, O learned one
Cos this poem, it be done.

Happy birthday, grammar dude!
Like me, the "g" is silent.

Come down to London in exactly two weeks and a day from now and I'll buy you all the liquid strength you can muster!

Otis Westinghouse
Is a big girls blouse
He posts about Green Gartside
And talks football out his backside
When it comes to take a punt
He's not really in the hunt
In fact he's just an old cunt

Awww, i'm blushing!
I'm very tempted to hit Reply to most of those. You're all too kind (though I am feeling rather outnumbered as a MU fan). Suffice to say:

a) Sorry, King et al, really can't make 28th. Inlaws visiting and I'll have been out a couple of times already that week so will really have to stick around that evening.

b) I celebrated my ancientness (my second 21st birthday, as I like to think of it) at a school production of Oliver with my 13.5 (today) year old biggest laddie as Charlie bates, part of Fagin's gang. It was great. Now everyone's gone to bed and I'm polishing a bottle of Jacob's Creek bubbly. Not bad.

c) Blue, I'm catching you up. What kind words!

d) Mood, Gilli, sisters you are poets.

e) Mike: you too, but a rude one.

Thanks again.

Now back to the Green thread with me...
