Other sites..care to share?

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Just wondering what, if any, other sites you visit and post on...music related or not.

http://www.beingtheremag.com is an online music & film magazine that RedShoes, pip_52, El Vez, noiseradio, and I all write for.

I've also been known to post my own remarks on http://www.imdb.com from time to time. I'm the one who doesn't accuse every movie of promoting Satanism.
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

I've come across better DVD sites (that I forgot to save as favourites), but this one is very good: http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/

Well you can't visit here and not visit John Everingham's fantastic site at

http://www.elviscostello.info

You should also try http://www.elvis-costello.com

Other sites I visit are

http://www.play.com

and, if you're in the UK, http://www.find-dvd.co.uk, which compares DVD prices.

But you should also ensure you use the links on these pages and buy from amazon to help fund the board. And no, I am not on commission :)

Being of juvenile mind and a fan of sick dark humour I love:

http://www.darwinawards.com

"Named in honor of Charles Darwin, the father of evolution, the Darwin Awards commemorate those who improve our gene pool by removing themselves from it."

Basically its a site dedicated to people who have maimed or killed themselves through sheer stupidity...

This site claims to carry the 'ideal' version of albums ie. the best versions that exist with bonus tracks etc. It's a good source for finding out whether you can get something better than the 'standard' versions of albums.

Poppet -- Could you at least give us a clue?

Anyhow, aside from a couple of Whedon/Firefly-Serenity boards, I've been toying with the "ur-liberal" site dailykos lately...and I even troll, er, posted with a contrasting point of view on "BlogsforBush"

Some of the most amazing pictures can be found here : http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/archivepix.html

I'm not much into astronomy but I opened my mouth in awe when I saw these photographs.

You can watch some excellent gigs on this site : http://www.fabchannel.com/

The list includes Ron Sexsmith, Damien Rice, Arcade Fire, Sonic Youth, Bright Eyes, Doves and John Cale. Solomon Burke and Killing Joke are going to play in the nearest future, alas not together.

Girl #1: Yo, that girl is nasty. She blew her dog.
Girl #2: No, she didn't. She and her Mamas had sex with Duquan together.
Girl #1: No! Trick! That wasn't her. She blew a dog. I saw it.
Girl #2: She blew Noodles?

You're very welcome, Mr. Boom. I aim to please. In fact, I have seen myself twice on that site, one instance of which I submitted myself (so sue me), and neither instance of which involves bestiality.
