At 15 my friend Björn got so drunk that he puked up a whole chipolata (10 cm sausage, right?) that he didn't even remember eating. Or at least that's what we thought it was.

aw damn, i love you guys.

you made me laugh really hard. thank you.

fyi, the root canal went a-okay. minimum pain.

IF YOU EVER NEED A ROOT CANAL, GO TO AN ENDODONTIST. do NOT let your dentist do it. i MEAN it.

fucking bitch dentist just about killed me the first root canal i had. no wonder i didn't go back to a dentist for *five years*. i'd like to stab her mouth repeatedly w/ needles and tell her 'oh, it'll be fine, you won't feel a thing BITCH.'

________

so, this time, MUCH better. slight pain two days after at the initial injection site, otherwise, NO PAIN. and the procedure itself, while taking forever, was really rather painless. worst bit was really really REALLY having to pee, and not knowing when i might possibly ask to go. the dr decided he needed some xrays (which come up instantly on the computer! oh, this place is sweet w/ the technology) and i took the chance to inquire if i could please go potty. they have a toilet in the office, i'd guess so as to not scare the mundanes when you walk out w/ a rubber sheet hanging outta your mouth.

and monday i have fillings. and it'll be a whole damned MONTH w/ the temporary filling on the root canal, before i can get the crown done. i am exploring the great wide world of soup.

Bummer poppet. I am sorry you had to have a root canal.

I just finished polishing 12 wheels and axles for 3 cub scout pinewood derby cars. Mrs S has been on the car production line. We now have a SpongeBob car for one boy and suitcase/travel car for me in the geezer division. She needs to post some pics.

I've just gotten onto the board for the first time in ages. I've actually had to do a week's solid work AND I DON'T LIKE IT!

I've driven 750 miles this week and seen every kind of weather.

Your odometer would count kilometres in England, wouldn't it? Over 1000 kms might sound more impressive...

crow beware that bluetooth technology - that's apparently how Paris got hacked.

I'm sure New York is missing you - I know the board does when you're away.

Some rocket scientist figured it would be a good plan to end the school day on a Friday with an hour long study hall. The students and I are eyeing each other with contempt, each blaming the other for our bad fortune.

i'm counting down until 6:30 pm, at which time i am unchained from my desk.

today my boss announced he is leaving.

his boss is relatively new, a former military man, and he's kinda making us all insane.

anybody need an exec asst in the boston metro area? i'm a fine exec asst. yes, i may surf the web, but i will get all the work done, it will be gorgeous and beautiful, and i am excellent at solving problems.

come on, you know you wanna hire me.

(and fyi, the time i see on this post is an hour ahead of the time it actually is at my desk. *sniff*)

That movie served as the theme to one of our Halloween parties. We are thinking of using The Nightmare Before Christmas next

One Night At McCool's is playing on Comedy Central. Man, that movie creates a serious partial vacumn with its mouth. Plus, I'm allergic to Paul Reiser's post-Aliens work as an actor.

Lunched at Wagamamas, a japanese style noodle bar (chain). Been open here for a couple of months but just got round to going. Very good, I'll be going back.

Wagamama means "selfish" in Japanese

Speaking of good eats, I've been out this morning on a mission. The teachers at my kids' school have been working on recertifying their school accreditation, and the principal wanted to give them a wine and cheese reception tomorrow after school. So, who do they call? The resident wino - me.

So, on the school's buck, I've been out last night and today, sipping wine and selecting cheeses.

I much prefer these smaller kinds of receptions anymore to the larger catering gigs I used to do. I have found that large numbers of people often aren't appreciative and are more demanding. :?

I have a new boss! She seems very nice, but a lot more organized than my old one, so I will have to be more organized too. Ack.
