I'd like to request "Combination Of The Two" by Big Brother and the Holding Company.
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

Great requests y'all. Thanks!

Bamboo - my next interview is jazz trumpeter Nate Birkey. He'll be on this Friday. And on July 1st, David Mead is scheduled.

If I had a choice, I'd interview the Edge, not Bono.

NO FREAKIN WAY! I was doing some research on old-school dj's, and he was a guy that intrigued me. I listened to a bunch of his airchecks and did some internet research on him! WAY COOL!!!!

Are you familiar with this dude, Cos? If he's the first podcast star, then you should be on your way to Alan Freed status in no time.

True, but at least he never made an ass out of himself on Good Morning America talking shit about scientology and post partum depression.

You know I wish McCartney money on you, Cos.

Cosmos--

I'm assuming you played the original "soundtrack" recording of the Underdog thing.

I know a guy whose group performs a really killer acapella version of that...he's actually performed it on "Scrubs" (one of them is a regular on the show). They also do a pretty funny version of the "Superman" theme music (they wrote lyrics for it). I don't know if their stuff has ever been played on any radio show, anywhere. (When I first heard they're "Superman" I was trying to get them to contact Dr. Demento, but I guess they were worried about legal issues, which is probably why they haven't done it on "Scrubs" either, as far as I know).

And, nice of El Vez to wish you the McCartney money. I'll second that. For myself, I'd be happy with MacManus money.
