Music Quiz Trivia

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

He wrote "I Fought The Law" and "Love Is All Around" (the Mary Tyler Moore Show theme song). Also a one-time member of an important 50's rock n' roll band. Name that dude!

Twas Sonny 'Cricket' Curtis.

Interesting fact about Sonny is that he also co-wrote a Leo Sayer number 1 (More than I can Say). Good old Leo  stark staring mad!

Not Bobby Fuller - he had the hit with I Fought The Law, but he didn't write it. (The Bobby Fuller 4 were a great band....Bobby was found dead in his car, beaten to a pulp and doused in gasolinge, the police ruled it a suicide, he was just 23).

A gritty evocation of a fifties childhood. Jim lacks a father figure and turns to the Rock and Roll world when he buys a guitar from a pawn shop at the end.

Name that truly great forgotten movie, the more famous follow up movie and the name of the British 50s/60s star who played 'Stormy Tempest'.
