Diana doesn't look like Diana. Perhaps she's getting into character for the rumoured Britney Spears covers album.

I wonder if Elvis is wearing the shiny boots. They must be moulded onto him by now
Who’s this kid with his mumbo jumbo?

Elvis plays single daddy - and contributes to global warming.

[Krall] sees a Chinese doctor in New York and she is also into acupuncture. “When I was trying to get pregnant with my kids, I had acupuncture every day — that’s why I have two children,” she quipped.

Right now, her twin toddlers are with hubby singer-songwriter Elvis Costello who’s also touring behind his current album Momofuku.

[...]

“We” of course, is hubby Costello (who, in case you’re wondering, also drives a Lexus Hybrid that’s so quiet, he accidentally left it running when the family went for dinner recently).

When we asked if we could expect an official album from the couple (Costello has collaborated as a lyricist for her album The Girl in the Other Room), Krall played coy.

“Not yet. We have duelling records playing in our house. We joke that later on in life, we’ll be on a cruise ship to Alaska singing together,” she said with a laugh.

They're cute 'n' all, but do we really need to see them on magazine covers?

Apparently there's lots more 'family portraits' in the mag.

That's Frank on the left, Dexter on the right.
Dexter is the older brother, by one minute.
DK tells this interviewer from CBC's The National:
"Dexter looks so much like Elvis, and Frank looks like me, except for the gapped teeth. He's got The Gap."

There's something so vile about the paps taking pics of a dad just taking his kids for a stroll. Ugh!

In other news, Elvis has ditched the 'tache! Good move, Elv! It's his optimum look, I reckon!

Having seen Diana at Royal Albert Hall this past week, I can report that the twins are now into Sheryl Crow’s Real Gone, and all things Randy Newman.
She and Elvis have been carving pumpkins and have the wounds to show for it. They travel with neutral paint to touch up hotel walls after the boys have “redecorated” them.
The oft-mentioned kids’ record – which I’m starting to believe might actually happen – is to feature “the sultry, smoky, scotch-infused sounds of Mud, Mud, Glorious Mud with full orchestra. And a harp. And a real hippopotamus.”

Some drunk guy was hurling abuse at Diana to which she responded “careful, I have a very angry husband, and he can meet you outside if you’d like”.

She also snuck in She Handed Me a Mirror as an intro for I’ve Grown Accustomed to His Face – mp3 below (recorded on my cell, so excuse the quality).

Seems I didn't miss much, though the duet with Jools was lovely. She's a great pianist, for sure, but I'm amazed at how unappealing her voice is, downright ugly. Tuneless mumbling with her mouth barely open. I think Easy Listening is the one form of music I truly hate. I saw Michael Bublé on the TV this week, sweet voiced, unlike DK, but as dull as hell. It's music that has no ambitions other than existing, like decor. Bland decor. I can't believe people would actually pay to go and sit through an evening of that stuff.

29th November 2010

Celebrity Daddy day care: Jack Black, Hugh Jackman and Elvis Costello regress to childhood at park play dates.

(extract)

On the other side of America, Australian-born actor Hugh Jackman, 42, met up with Elvis Costello, 56, with both men bringing their broods for an afternoon play date in the park.

Jackman has two adopted children with wife Deborra-Lee Furness, 10-year-old son Oscar, 10 and five-year-old daughter Ava.

The actor's clan met Costello who brought twins Dexter Henry Lorcan and Frank Harlan James, who will be four next month, to the play date.

As the children played together parents Hugh, Deborra-Lee, Elvis and wife Diana Krall found some time to have a quick natter.

True, but they're all over the 'net so we might as well see them in some kind of proper context.

Have to strongly agree with Jeremy- I see no place for pictures and articles like this. Let the man have privacy with his family. There is no need to know the minutia of his daily life.

Agreed. The obsession with all details of EC's personal life-- past and present-- is unnerving, to say the least. Of course, that's not everybody.
