Another "Worst" thread -- Worst cover by EC

Post by normabuel »

In the worst EC album thread, I listed KV as one of my least favorite albums. On reason for that is his un-listenable cover of the Kinks masterpiece "Days." I think that EC's cover falls so short of the original (to be fair, I am skeptical that the original can be improved upon), it is his worst cover song.

Jeesh, I know my favorite cover. Lets see...

I've listened to KV around 3 times, but cannot include it here, because I don't know the covers by name... but found them all to be really bad.

I think his worst cover is his Ian Dury cover live of "The Roadette Song".

I like "Strange," but the rest of the album doesn't do a thing for me.

Reading what I typed, I find myself disagreeing with myself.

Heh, I meant to say that I am unfamiliar with the songs, even though I listened to them.

"Bama Lama Bama Loo" is great!
