Lots of stuff from Cold Roses, a few early chestnuts, and a few from the new album. No acoustic or mellow stuff, everything was f...

Good score Strict Time - the earlier the Bruce the better really, to a point, and if youve got Tea for the Tillerman, Catch Bull at Four or Mona Bona Jakon then youve scored some classic Cat Stevens too.

The thing is ... things have changed ... for musicians these days its a completely different world. People steal your music, or your forced to give it away, nobody buys it anymore. Radio is scattered all over the internet and up in space and there are no longer a core of fans huddled up to the radio...

I really like "Radio Nowhere", seems a real return to the "Darkness on the Edge of Town" sound, and the few songs he played on the Today show the other morning were sounding good too. I'll be grabbbing it tomorrow too, could be a real winner.

Yeah what's Andy Partridge ever done? This guy sounds like a bit of an egomaniac. Agreed that hes not being very nice to Young Mr Partridge - but when youve produced the stuff that Boyd has you can probably afford to be a little snarky, as much as I love XTC, as a producer Boyd is indeed a legend. ...

[quote] “Elvis was one of those artists, when he sang a song, he just seemed to live every word of it. There’s other people that have a voice that’s maybe as great or greater than Presley’s, but he had that certain something that everybody searches for all during their lifetime.â€

Tony Wilson RIP

Anthony Wilson, the music mogul behind some of Manchester's most successful bands, has died of cancer. Oh no! I really admired this guy, who not only had a great love of music but actually got out and did something with it, bringing a legion of fantastic groups to our ears. http://news.bbc.co....
