when i was a kid we had a dog born of purebred stock.

except it was a cross breed, so a mutt.

pekinese mother, labrador father.

i knew the facts of life. this had me wondering ALOT. :)

decent dog, funny looking, would have been a great dog if we'd known to train him. stupid family.

jesus christ, i LOVE New Scientist. when i used to work at MIT's Media Lab, my group had a subscription. i used to always say the one thing i would really miss would be reading New Scientist every week. and i was right. it's scientific! it's british! doesn't get any better than that for geeky glory.
