It took me a little while to get here but I've finally returned.

I though you'd all conspired and left me whilst I was away last week!

I'm not paranoid though!

"In last night's case, people were willing to buy tickets when they didn't even know what kind of band Costello was going to have - the Attractions, the Impostors, solo, duo,"

Ooh, I think we can safely rule out it not being an Attractions show...

And no, I do not sing loudly nor dance wildly. I just sway and mutter to myself. If it's of any interest, I don't dance well and can only do the Standard Issue Bloke Dances ie 1. Moving left and right feet forward and back out of time 2. Slow dance ie dancing around and around 3. Arms and legs flyi...

PoP - great story! So, what IS it with you and big metal poles then? Are you a poledancer?  And HOW can you even think to get drunk at an EC gig? You're not one of those people who sing loudly and out of tune to all the hits are you? I prefer to sing out of tune (whilst sober!) to Episode...

However, it was an excellent quiz and I learned a few things.

Maybe I'll enter the next one!

Otis - I've just been lucky. My mate - who goes to almost every date - had followed Elvis on every UK date in 2002. Elvis only apparently met with fans on the Hammersmith night. The Imposters came out in differing numbers each night but our El only chatted to fans that night.

A devious ploy by amazon to get as much money as poss. Surely not! I wonder if there'll be a CD single released and the extra tracks + DVD will turn up on that. Or another special edition months after the first edition came out. I suspect the Uk will see the extras eventually. And yes, it will prob...

The last time (of 3) that I met Elvis was outside Hammersmith Apollo after the show on 13th September 2002. There were about 8 of us. We waited for about 45 minutes and had a chat with Davey and he signed my 45 flyer. Elvis came out and was chatting away with us when my phone went. It was about midn...

Re: drunken things we have done in the last week

Now, remember, this is only in the last week. No stories from twenty years ago, the embarrassment/pride must still be fresh. -made out with three firemen -chased two boys down a dark street at four in the morning, threatening to punch them because one of them had slapped my ass -sang along to every...

Re: ICE feature on re-issues

"... We also found this great song called ‘Baby Pictures’ –it’s a completely unknown song in the vein of Madness" That description doesn't fit with the version he played solo around 1981 - perhaps they've found a band version? Bring it on :D He definitely played Baby Pictures, accompanied...

Is Almost Blue up for reissue? He seems to be doing a lot of songs from it. The set lists always start slowly and then due to his boredom/prolificness (if there is such a word) the setlists completely change. This explains one of the reasons why I used to travel hundreds of miles to see him on succe...

I like Neat Neat Neat but I would have preferred to hear a thrashed out punk version of it.

My favourite was a one off cover version of Hopelessly Devoted To You, done in Australia because apparently Olivia Newton John was in the audience.

Well, I don't know what the weather's like or when the wedding is, but you wouldn't be wanting to wear black anyway whilst it's this hot!

It's about 29 degrees at the moment in/near London.

Good luck whenever it is.
