I would agree in general-- most people can't sustain the quality for over an hour. And I think an argument can be made that WIWC is a little too long, but I think that is just a fluke of that particular record and the material he was presenting (some of those songs weren't the best he has to offer)...

Not a one-way street. And I disagree with how she was treated. Either this is a free country, or it is not. Let each individual audience decide their tolerance to nonperformance by a performer, and then choose, later, to either fire or rehire the performer. Follow the money. It works every time. Ar...

Apparently there is more to this story than meets the eye. She also said some bad things about the casino itself, and generally behaved badly.

For the first few songs Miss BA and I were up there within 10 feet of him and it was like a dream come true to see the spit go flying. Lots of spit those first few songs. Then security made everybody go back to their seats and after that I couldnt see the spit anymore. :( But did you get any spit o...

Tonight, we had a summer associate trip to see Elvis Costello perform at Lincoln Center. This line says it all. He's probably some spoiled, twenty-something summer associate at a law firm who's getting paid lots of money and being wined and dined while doing virtually no productive work. I know. I ...

And Steve got a haircut! Speaking of Steve.....I'm sure one of you guys can tell me, what was he playing or doing with his hands on several of the earlier songs? It looked like he was waving his hand (or hands) back and forth in the air over the keyboard manipulating the sound in some way. Was that...

Well, I just got back and all I can say is WOW! What a show! I'm sure someone else will post a setlist, but it was one of the best Elvis shows I've seen (being in the third row didn't hurt ;)). The songs from the new album sounded great. I think it's going to be a real winner. The highlight for me, ...

I have an extra ticket for tonite's show (7/13)
Unfortunately I've had a change in plans and can't go tonite. :( I have a really good single ticket (Orchestra Row D) that I will give to any well-established board member who can meet me at my office on Wall Street today. PM me if interested. Don't cry too hard for me; I'm still going on Thursday a...

Congratulations, Taz. :D Being an uncle is great. When he gets older you'll be able to relate to him in ways that his parents can't, because their his parents and you're not 8) Anyway, I would give them some Mozart CDs. Listening to Mozart is supposed to help their little brains develop. My son used...

Before I consider buying one of these, are you saying that if I transfer a music file to my iPod, and then erase the file from my PC, the next time a transfer a file the first one will be erased from the iPod? That doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever. With my Zen, after I rip a CD and copy it to...
