While it's nice to "have" this album now, I will be first in line to pick it up on vinyl. Something tells me the album is supposed to be listened to that way.

At least he avoided the pastels and floppy, baggy suits that were en vogue later in the 1980s.

Except for that horrendous purple-and-black-striped sweater in 'High Fidelity'.

While we're talking about Elvis' voice breaking, my favorite is on the alternate 'You'll Never Be A Man', where his voice practically explodes in the middle of the second chorus, during "foreign bodies"; it sounds more like "f*AHRR*eign" than "foreign".

I wouldn't say entirely... My Bloody Valentine recently released an album days after announcing it, so it could be possible with EC and the Roots. But... I wouldn't count on it.
