I don't really trust many critics anymore. The All Music Guide sends out a weekly new release e-mail. I peruse that, and if anything looks interesting, I listen to the snippets and decide for myself if it sounds good.

I Saw the Light - I like the descending chords in the chorus. It's a shame that Eric Carmen sold his soul to the musical devil.

Nice thread, LTZ! Harrison's tracks would sound SO much different with Martin's production rather than Spector's. Plus, would George have brought in those same musicians (Badfinger, Clapton, Dave Mason, etc.) had the tracks been released under the Fab Four name? Interesting thought.... Lennon's song...
